No Engine, no sails, no support boat, no company. just me, bojangles, a few sets of oars, lots of dehydrated food, and 3000 miles of open ocean.

The race will see me at sea, alone, unsupported, and at the mercy of the weather, for around 3 months as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

I will once again be attempting this crossing aboard my old friend Bojangles. She is a 7 metre, purpose built ocean rowing vessel, built to contain all my food and supplies for the duration of my journey.

you can learn more about this special boat at the 'Bojangles' page.

We will be setting off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands, following the famous 'trade winds' route across to Antigua. With a scheduled start date of December 14th, it will be a very lonely and strange Christmas!
